returns + shipping

Unfortunately, The Candle Marketplace does not currently accept returns. While we know it is extremely difficult to know if you'll enjoy a particular scent without having tested it in person, we have great descriptions and do offer mini 1.5 oz candles that you can purchase to try scents first. If you aren't in love with the scent, please consider gifting your candle to a friend or someone you think would enjoy it.


All of our products are carefully inspected before they are shipped. However, things happen that are beyond our control. We will gladly replace or refund damaged products if photographic proof is submitted to us within 5 days of delivery. Please contact us directly at


If for any reason your package is returned to us, you will be responsible for the cost to reship the package which will be the same shipping you originally paid. You will be sent an invoice via email.

If you choose to receive a refund rather than have your order resent, you will be refunded for the cost of the candle(s) only. We cannot refund shipping costs on returned packages. 

If a return to sender is processed and your package is not returned to us for any reason, you will be responsible for paying the full cost of a replacement candle, plus an additional $7.99 to cover the cost of shipping, should you want a replacement sent. We cannot offer any refunds on orders which are not returned to us. To prevent returned packages, ensure your Name, Address and Apartment Number are correct on the order.

missing packages

Once a package is in the care of the mail carrier, The Candle Marketplace is no longer responsible for the package. If a package is marked as delivered but you are unable to find it you must reach out to your local USPS to assist with finding said package. We are unable to do anything on our end. Most likely the carrier will ask for you to submit a claim. We are more than happy to assist with any information that is needed from us in submitting the claim.
